Scandic Food – Tårs has decided to switch to INEXTIA due to limited use of the SERTICA app and a desire to avoid updating internal servers. Scandic Food is happy that they have taken the leap and look forward to a fresh start.
In Vendsyssel is the town of Tårs, and here you’ll find the company Scandic Food. Scandic Food is part of the Good Food Group and at their factory in Tårs they produce fruit-based products such as jam and fruit porridge as well as dairy alternatives like custard and soft ice cream. And with a belief that good food is essential for everyone’s well-being, they have established themselves as one of the most significant and largest players in the market today.
After several years of using the SERTICA maintenance system, Scandic Food – Tårs has made the decision to switch to INEXTIA. With several production sites spread around the country, including Jakobsens and Scandic Food Nørre Aaby, which have been using INEXTIA since 2019 and 2022 respectively, Good Food Group sees an obvious opportunity to gather all productions under the same maintenance system.
The decision to switch to INEXTIA was made with care and thought. It all started with a webinar at the end of 2022, where Scandic Food – Tårs really opened their eyes to INEXTIA. After the webinar, their Technical Supporter, Leif Toft, went through the system and Scandic Food was sold!
“The reason for our decision to switch from SERTICA to INEXTIA is due to lack of use of SERTICA due to internal server updates, but also because we want to free ourselves from the IT part,” says Leif.
Scandic Food has entered into a new partnership with INEXTIA to ensure that the company can deliver high quality and efficient production, while avoiding having to spend time and resources on updating their own servers. This will give Scandic Food more time to develop new innovative products and focus on their core competencies.
With the new system in place, Scandic Food can now look forward to more focus on maintenance and savings on internal IT operations.
